Who is it for?

Traditional mushrooms

Maitake, also known as hen-of-the-woods, and shiitake are popular edible mushrooms and well-known delicacies used both in cooking and in traditional practices in East Asian countries. Hen-of-the-woods takes its Japanese name “maitake” from “mai,” meaning dance, often interpreted as “the dancing mushroom,” while “shii” is the name of the tree on which the shiitake mushroom typically grows. “Take” is the Japanese word for mushroom. These mushrooms have been cultivated and used for hundreds of years and are now well established in many parts of the world.

Vitamins and zinc

Forever ImmuBlend contains vitamins C and D as well as zinc, all of which have a number of important qualities. Vitamin C increases iron absorption, while zinc contributes to normal macronutrient, carbohydrate and fatty acid metabolism. Vitamin D contributes to normal calcium levels in the blood and to the maintenance of normal muscle function.

Fibre and protein

Forever ImmuBlend also contains fructooligosaccharides (FOS) from chicory root and lactoferrin from cow’s milk. FOS are soluble dietary fibres that occur naturally in many plants, while lactoferrin is a milk protein whose name is derived from the Latin words for milk and iron.
